Was up seeing the nurse today for my contraceptive injection (thank god for that as if it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't be diagnosed now) anyway at my last appointment 3 attempts to get a blood pressure reading and she gave up and checked the records for what it was 3 months previously, yep only me the same thing happened again today but luckily she had the good old manual pumper one in the room (I'm sure this was cause she knew I was coming in) result for bp - 112/80 so glad to know I have a bp lol x

Exactly the thoughts I had when I got home from the hospital WL it doesn't bare thinking about and was quite upsetting to think about, but hey I'm still around and will be for a very long time yet 🙂 xx

At one of my heart ultrasound appts last year, they had a new chap doing it, and he couldn't find my heart beat 😱. I said 'well I'm definitely here and breathing, so it's there somewhere!'. Luckily, the other nurse took over, and found it straight away. phew....

I like to stay away from heart departments, I had high blood pressure a couple of years ago, they had me on one of the 24 hour heart monitors, a scan etc luckily everything came back fine though, when I was a kid I was having a tooth out at the hospital as the root was badly twisted and one of the theatre people kicked the heart monitor and even though I was sitting up talking according to it I was flat lining 😱 x
