Tomorrow is my Birthday, when I have my annual Birthday treat of a full-on rich, moist, fudgey chocolate cake!😛🙂

For it to be WORTH the extra insulin I need to bolus for it I have tended to go for bigger cakes costing from £10-£15 as the little ones tend to be on the dry side! I only eat 2 or 3 slices, over 2 or 3 days, & chuck the rest: avoiding temptation!🙄😳

This year I thought I’d give the above titled little cake a go & I’m glad I did! It was only £2.25 from my local ASDA & I estimate it as a 4 piece cake! It’s moist, rich & fudgey: exactly what I want! There’ll only be a little waste too, if any, tbh I may be naughtier than usual, this year, & finish it!😛:D

My weekly groceries delivery is on Tuesday’s & I couldn’t resist the cake when it was delivered, with the shopping today, eating 1 piece, a quarter of the cake, with fresh whipped cream & peppermint tea after dinner at 17:45 today BS 6.7. 19:42 BS 10. Usual Dinner Novorapid is 8 units, currently, & I gave it 12 units because of the cake! I’m pretty happy with that!

Oh, incidentally I looked on the box & it’s supposed to be 6 pieces but, that seems very stingy, to me, & about 4 pieces, as I estimated, looks about right! So, according to the nutritional info for 1.5 pieces of cake the carbs are 54g with 31.5g of that being sugars!

Edited to add:-* Oh, just about to go to bed, 22:22 BS 7.0. Still pretty happy with that!😛:D
