Are Diabetic Nurses phychic The reason i ask this when i have a review and hand over my diabetic diary she lookes over her glasses and says that was a good weekend Simon, or did you enjoy that Chinese, thats three currys you have had, i obviously deny it, but is amazing how accurate they are, might aswell get my diary stamped at the take away

I think you mean psychic there Simon (unless they’re really evil nurses of course and you meant psychotic!) :D

Yes rumour has it DSN’s receive weekly print outs of all takeaway consumed by their patients but then again it could just be some lucky guesswork! 🙂

Sorry miss i corrected my spelling loll

I'd go for lucky guesswork rather than some takeaway ESP else why would I get asked by mine "so what happened here"? pointing to a random bg spike that happened 3 months ago last Tuesday at 8,30 pm o_O

Does your food diary have give away curry stains on it perhaps? 😉🙂

Im going to say my new dog ate my homework next time

I bet she lives opposite the take away and spies you walking in!

An endo told me that when they were working in diabetes clinics during training - their professors told them that unless a BG diary showed evidence of bloodstains, it was most likely concocted just prior to the person's appointment - and laughed like a drain! I replied that yes I had used to do that sometimes but eventually realised there was absolutely no point cos nobody could be that daft to believe it for years! LOL

I always write down the naughty things I eat as I add more insulin for it! And, yes, I get bloodstains on my diary all the time: writing an entry just after a finger prick! There's so much crammed into my monitor diary that it surprises me my DSN can read it! :D
