Are 65-70 year olds with Diabetes being ignored

I find it inretesting that there were plenty of politicians, pundits and commentators in Aus who said Covid couldn’t be eliminated there too, and that ‘zero‘ targets eg in Victoria were unreasonable.

Before they were achieved.
With full open borders and no restrictions?
The second they start to return to normal they'll see cases rise, even with a vaccine, so they've not really eliminated it in any sustainable way.
 
Well the border posts between the different states are still there and so are the border fences!! Oz isn't like anywhere else in the world I've ever been to - we were pretty gobsmacked by that. My sis used to live near a border and hence usually did her supermarket shopping in another state. Trouble was the border fence was the line between 2 different time zones, so she'd be turning up an hour or two before the shop opened sometimes.

Anyone arriving in Oz from anywhere else At All in the world is swiftly moved from plane to a quarantine hotel for 14 days and you are confined to that room, end of story. None of this promising to self isolate in your own home - NO!!! Oz don't allow anyone to do that.
