I don't know about apps but the menu ideas on the main DUK website look pretty good and also those in this link https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/ also recipes on the sugarfreelondoner web site are good

You could try MyFitnessPal. I’ve used it before and it has most U.K. foods. It’s more to monitor your daily food than give tips, but it gives you a good idea of how you’re doing,

Not an app, but you could also look at the Meal Planners here:

https://www.diabetes.org.uk/guide-to-diabetes/enjoy-food/eating-with-diabetes/meal-plans

It depends what you’re aiming for really as there are various health apps. I also use Dr Gregor’s Daily Dozen to make sure I’m including healthy foods. If you’re trying to lose weight, there are a number of apps that might help, but I’d try a free trial first just to make sure it suits you.

You’ll also find many websites have free information and recipes that you can download, along with tips and guidance.

I use nutracheck which is uk based

Nutracheck and Myfitnesspal seem to be the ones that get mentioned most often here I think, along with Carbs and Cals (though since that moved to a subscription model I think people are opting for the printed book if they don’t need the database of foods to be updated.
