Does anybody use the Yuka (free) app, or any other app to gather nutrition info? I have been recommended the Yuka app but it's really about healthy eating rather than diabetic eating. You scan the bar code and get information.
I'd be interested to know about other apps, maybe specifically for diabetics....

If you are LADA and on insulin then for you diabetic eating is really just healthy eating though it very much depends on what insulins you are taking and if you are adjusting your dose for the carbs you eat. Make sure whatever app you are using is a UK one rather than American as fibre is dealt with differently, I have never heard that app mentioned.

I’ve been using NutraCheck for many years. Not free but around £26 a year if you take advantage of renewal deals which are offered frequently. Huge database of foods, reads barcodes, you can choose which nutrients to track and store your own recipes. A free trial is available if you want to try it out.

Thank you very much for that. I will have a look and try it out.
