Apps from G.P. on prescription.

Dear Mr. Lansley is hoping that G.P.'s will embrace the idea of apps for their patients. This is a scheme that IMHO is one of his better ideas. I suppose a lot will depend on how much it will add to the NHS Bill.

I hope they can prescribe a smartphone for those of us without one.🙂

In that article, it mentions the Patientknowsbest app which enables a central storage site for patient information so that eg diabetics can manage their own data in a co-ordinated way, which the agencies do not currently do.

A brilliant idea but it doesn't mention how we get access to this data?
