Went to the GP today relating to a non-d related appointment and whilst there asked about the injection that those with d should have re: pnuemonia.

The nurse was great and asked me if I wanted it 'there and then'...so I did 🙂

What I liked about this appointment is the nurse I saw was very supportive not like my DN who I saw a week ago for my flu jab :( You'd think a DN with diabetes herself would be a more supportive option....

Just thought I'd share this....

You would think so wouldn't you? Mind you, I'm not sure if you've ever read about the nurse from Balance magazine's letters page who was 'disgusted' that some people with diabetes chose to inject in public? She was diabetic herself, although not on insulin. I wrote a series of poems about her:

:D

Glad to hear you had a good experience today 🙂

I like the there and then option Amanda, no waiting, just get it done. I had mine 2 years ago I'm told when I asked for it. News to me.🙂
