In a split-second, last-minute, knee-jerk decision, Apple delayed the launch of their HealthKit product. It may have paid off as new HealthKit compatible apps are finally available to the public.
Its an important strategy to release your products when the public will be able to use them properly. With recent iOS8 issues, structural iPhone 6 Plus issues, and slow acceptance of the iWatch, the last Apple needed two weeks ago was a HealthKit that would only draw attention to an ineffective developmental process.
