Apple crumble

Well even if there wasn't much sugar (carbs) in the apple or even then in the crumble - there is always flour (carbs) in the crumble - so not the best choice as a dessert if you don't use insulin.

I make apple crumble and add a bit of erythritol to the apples depending on what type they are and make the crumble topping with butter, ground almonds, and low sugar granola and some seeds (pumpkin and sunflower).

I make crumble from cooked fruit eg. strawberries and rhubard with eyrthitol or xylitol sweetener. I then add a crumble top made of toasted almonds, Almond flour, some butter, sweetener, and flax or chia seeds like Leadinglights has suggested. Bake the mix at 180 for 20 mins. Apple is too sugary so berries and 'rhubarb only.
