I’m reading that Apple cider vinegar can help lower morning reading if taken at night. Has anyone found this effective?
Thanks

I think the same goes for all vinegars, as the acids do something in the gut that slows down/prevents carb absorption.
Not a huge amount of research has been done.

I enjoy a dash of ACV and another of balsamic in a glass of water on a morning before breakfast with my fibre supplement (chia seeds and psyllium husk) and I feel that my gut benefits from this concoction (certainly my bowels have never been so good) but I can't particularly say that it improves my BG levels. There are too many other things which impact that to notice the minimal difference I think this would make.

I use quite a lot of red wine vinegar! Nice for making dressings.
