Diagnosed type 2 around 5-6 years ago and well controlled by diet initially. Fell off the wagon and now dieting hard (low carb) and lowering my blood sugar by diet, exercise, 2 grams metformin and gliclazide (40 mg in the morning and 80 in the evening). Had a 6.4 yesterday evening before dinner.🙂

Anyone know where I can buy a pancreas tree?

Best wishes,

Mark

Hi Reptile, no apologies needed, just glad you found us!

I's great that you're back on the horse again as that's all that matters really. Your number pre dinner number is fab so it seems as though you're on the right track. Did your GP tell you what your HbA1c number was? Might be good to keep track of that so you know what you're aiming for.

If there's anything we can help with, do let us know and we'll be happy to assist.
