No, it's the other way round. Levemir is a background insulin that you take once or twice in 24 hrs depending on your regime, and Novorapid is the one you take to tackle the carbs in your food - so you 'bolus' every time you eat. Hope that helps!
 
thanks very much ive only been diagnosed a couple of weeks think i may be having an information overload
 
Lots of us use novorapid

However my basal is I sulatard not levemir 🙂
