I have seen there are some very sensitive people i.e 1:1, 1:2 ratio etc not sure if there are any on the forum, I know you probably do but I stress to check labels every time you buy something even if it's a product you regularly buy as I see the values on Arla Skyr with honey has changed, not listed on supermarket sites or even their own site yet x

My ratios vary a lot throughout the day and things like the clock changes messes things up as well for me.

I'm bog standard - 1u to 10g, except between 'after lunch' to 'before dinner' - 1u to 15g then. Mind you - I need less than 10u basal. Don't think there's ever been much chance of me blaming my excess weight on the insulin, do you? Think it's probably caused by the cake in the afternoon as much as owt else! LOL

I'm bog standard at breakfast and 1:12 for lunch and dinner, always eat at the same times so unsure about the rest of the day lol, I take it you slip that cake in at the time your 1:15, hey why not I would too lol 🙂 x

I am around 1:2.5 at breakfast and around 1:5 the rest of the day. I have 44 units of lantus split 22 in the morning and 22 at night and this keeps me very steady with the odd exception that catches me unaware and give me a reading of about 10 instead of my usual 5-7 . Early mornings are always between 4-5

No - I created it specially to accommodate the cake - if I use 1:10 for any snack then, I hypo before dinner!
