Anyone using the GlucoMen LX Plus testing kit?

I've got one of the GlucoMen LX Plus testing kits and actually managed to get the GP to swap my repeat from the freestyle to this one.

Is anyone else using this monitor and how do they find it ? I've not started using it yet as I have a few weeks supply left of testing strips for the freestyle.

I also have my nice new shorter 6mm needles !! whooo hoo so hopefully my legs will now start to look normal again instead of lumpy and bruised.

Not started using these yet as I still have a supply of 8mm to finish (I did give mum a full box of the 8mm and she said these are better than the ones she gets - different brand but cant remember what hers are )

This is the one dad uses, it was the first one we got and they recently sent the LX to us which is better than the original although we don't use keytone testing.
We had a pot of strips which didn't take the blood up! Their customer care was excellent as they replaced the full pot of strips.

We haven't really used other ones apart from the test strips with two free metres. I found the Bayer strips really easy to use although I think it was because of the faulty Glucomen strips. Dad always uses the Glucomen lancing device but for some reason he sets it to a high number, says it doesn't! I like reading the results which I use the LX with dad providing the blood 😉

We buy some strips and get strips on prescription (so far)
