Anyone help me? (Blog poster)

I've been asked by my DSN to email her a poster advertising my blog that she can put up in the clinic.

I don't know how to make one though...especially one that looks GOOD. I don't have a decent logo (ala Six Until Me) either...

Anyone got any ideas? What program shall I use? How should I do it? Anyone got any ideas re logo?

would it be for free? 😛

I have a form of photoshop, tend to use the free GIMP programme. I'd have to make it on something like Publisher and then convert it to a PDF. I'm more worried about a decent logo lol, I'll have to trawl for free fonts
