Hi Amigo. I've just seen the ad too and was googling it! Got the same impression as you that it's an expensive way of eating porridge. But I'm always interested in anything that may help so am definitely not dismissing it yet!
Maybe someone has tried it?

Yes anything worth a try Linda and seems to have sound scientific back up but would also be interested in any personal experience of using it.

Ile let you know if/when I get some. I also like the sound of the cholesterol lowering bit! One of the Google links took me to another forum which didn't have much positive to say about it That was in 2014 so it's been on the market awhile.

Well wouldn't you know it -yesterday I made a purchase of Betavivo at £14.99 for a box of 15 sachets of what looks like cat biscuits! 77 calories per sachet plus whatever you have with it and 10.8 grand carb.
Had a bowl with semi skimmed milk around tea time last night along with my tea. Didn't test before or after as was eating other food and wouldn't have been a clearcut glucose check.
Worked til 2am then woke this morning to 6.4. Rechecked before eating the Betavivo and 6.5. After 1 hour 7.0 Then had a Costa cappachino and after another hour 5.8!
It's obviously early days but Ile see what happens with continued use. Of course the effect on cholesterol will be interesting too but that's not due until June so I may well be bankrupt by then if I continue with it!
