Hello

my first post here. My partner is type1 and we are looking to go the Dominican Republic. As anyone been I’ve booked hotel emailed them and they have said they do not have fridge only minibar. We’re going to change hotel as minibar isn’t good enough.
Anyone been? And what hotel

Well you're only going for a holiday so a week or two, in which case a Frio or two, will be more than enough and as long as you have access to cold water that's all diabetics need. https://friouk.com/

PS Been there but approx. 25+ years ago so no point in trying to remember the hotel name etc.

I’ve just got back. We stayed in Punta Cana in a hotel called TRS it was beautiful. I’m a type one and I didn’t put my insulin in the fridge for the week I was there. Just used frio wallets which kept it cool. Worth investing rather than swapping hotels. Have a lovely time!
