Hi

Well had my telephone conversation with the doc and it was a waste of time as she said had to speak to the doc who deals with diabetes.

The funny thing is that I have never dealt with the doc surgery as was diagnosed when admitted to hospital with something else. Also seemingly I have been neglecting my feet by not attending the podiatrist. Well I never have been referred so how am I supposed to do something bout that.

I would rather go through the DSN at the hospital as she is very approachable and not through the docs, am I within my rights to say I dont want to go through the doc surgery.

Only thing I know now is my HbATC is up to 11.8 and I know I need to work to correct this and I have started on that goal today.

Anu guidance would be great

Thanks

Ally

If you can get in with a proper hospital clinic I would do so, the care is so much better than a GP surgery............you have rights to do this.......

Good luck....

the hospital has always treated my diabetes never ever been dealt with through the doc

Thanks for help. Im determined to beat it

Ally xx

Ally might be worth if you do need to go to the Drs insist on seeing the diabetic drs only. We have two at our surgery. One is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard. But the other who diagnosed me is great. The 'normal' drs from experience dont like to guess were diabetes is concerned due to lack of knowledge.

If I can help in any way pm me - even if it is to ask for hints tip etc.
