With the diabetic nurse
We try to do the best we can
But results are getting worse
A little treat, a little snack
That something in-between
Affects diabetic levels
Obessions with the obscene
We know we shouldn't have it
But we have it anyway
And then we make excuses
Why our readings up today
Those tingles in your tootsies
Your eyesight has a blur
Stop making self excuses
And anxiety won't occur
Wait for just five seconds
And reason with yourself
Feel pride and simply walk away
