Had my first proper shopping day out since being diagnosed, it’s only taken me a year. Was up early and thinking a don’t know if I can do this, just told myself pull your big girl pants up and do it. So off I went and I had a good day, readings a bit higher, but think it was my anxiety back to normal now. Treated myself to couple pair sketchers hand bag and purse, had a McDonald’s first time in years and it was delicious. Next thing to tackle is my driving, not been keen lately

Sounds like a successful day! You can't beat a new pair of Skechers to cheer you up 🙂 Well done x

That’s such a brilliant step forward - well done you! It’s completely understandable to feel anxious before something like a full day out, especially when it's your first big outing since diagnosis, but you faced it head-on and did it anyway - that’s no small thing.
It sounds like you had a really lovely day too - some well-deserved treats and a McDonald’s to top it off (and so glad it was delicious! I find it can be a hit or a miss at times). A little spike in readings can absolutely be down to anxiety or the excitement of being out and about again - the important thing is you listened to your body and got back to your normal.
Driving will come too, in your own time. You’ve already shown you can face the nerves and come out the other side, so be kind to yourself, one step at a time, and you’re doing amazing! <3

Thank you wish I had done it months ago. Feel like finally getting my life back in track
