Antiques Roadshow last night

Did anyone else see one of the experts take a pen out of his pocket to point at something on an antique, and go 'Thats a Novorapid insulin pen'?
My other half thinks I'm nuts...

I think it was a pair of vases. Its the taller older gentleman with the bushy white beard, if that helps. (I wasnt paying attention to what they were doing, but anything diabetes related automatically cathces my attention, obviously!)

Ah, I think you probably mean David Battie - he does have diabetes, in fact I believe he's only recently returned to the programme after having problems with complications - so you are more than likely correct!

After reading your post, I just had to go and look for it.

It's on BBC iPlayer at about 12 min. David Battie takes out a disposable novorapid pen to demonstrate something. But I didn't hear him say anything about it. There was quite a close up on it due to the demonstration 🙂
