Anybody who follows my "My Poorly Leg" thread will know that I have had numerous courses of antibiotics this year. My latest course started last Friday. These have given me an iffy stomach and muggy head, and I expect my Trigger Finger will start up again. But what else do they do? I had my last Physiotherapy session of the year yesterday and whereas two weeks ago was one of my best sessions I really felt I had gone backwards. I seemed to lack stamina and the muggy head affected my confidence. When it came to the weights I could only do somewhat less than 50% of my usual reps. I finished the session feeling quite down! In addition I am sure the frequency of Phantom Pain is higher (four nights in a row now)

So what else are the antibiotics doing?

Destroying your healthy microbiome too? Perhaps a quality probiotic would help.
