A petition containing almost 4,500 names opposed to potential privatisation of NHS services in Cambridgeshire will be presented to county health chiefs during protests on Saturday.
The document, organised by campaign group Stop the NHS Sell-Off in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, will be handed to the area’s Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) at the final public consultation meeting into plans for older people’s and adult community services to be provided under a new £800 million contract.
