Another urgent trip to eye casualty

Had to go to A&E last night because a black blob appeared across the top of my left eye and it's affecting my vision. Oncall opthalmologist thought it was a bleed and said to go to eye casualty this morning. but I've never had a bleed affect my vision before and there are on also black dots. Keeping everything crossed that it's not a detached retina. Will be at A&E as soon as it opens. I can't believe that something else is wrong.

I once had this and it frightened the life out of me AJ. It was a huge floater that looked like a net or web across my eye. It was easily resolved. Hope it’s not a bleed or detached retina for you hun.

Thank you everyone. It is a massive bleed. I've been told that I will have urgent laser surgery in a week but if there is too much blood it will be urgent surgery at Oxford. I explained that I've got my Moorfields appointment on June 4th but he said that isn't soon enough.
