My husband ( non D) has recently been put on Simvastatin and now finds he is very bound up. Is there a connection or is it just coincidence?

It might be co incidence, did the pills come with a patient information leaflet? That will give some answers. If not and he needs some help see the doctor or pharmacist.

Thanks Caroline. I'll go and find the leaflet.

Have a look here: http://simvastatinside-effects.org/

Common side effects of simvastatin reported that are not necessarily symptoms of more serious issues include constipation, stomach pain, nausea, headaches, diarrhea, joint pain, and some memory loss. Even if experiencing some of these more common conditions, it is always best to consult a doctor. - quote from http://simvastatinsideeffects.net/

Good luck speaking to your GP about it.
