I had a problem last Friday with excruitiating pain due to a UTI. This is the first infection I've had since diagnosis and everything on the market which helps symptoms of cystitis seems to bad for diabetes
My husband brought home some Cranberry capsules (I thought this would be better than Cranberry juice) but when I researched on the internet, they interact with Metformin.
I am going through the Menopause and everything out there seems to interact with Metformin. Oil of Evening Primrose oil included!!
As I'm only on 1 x 500mg capsule per day is it worth taking it? I'm still not convinced that my blood glucose problems aren't all linked to these damn hormones!
My last reading was 6.7 (3.5 hrs after eating breakfast of scrambled eggs and tomatoes) do you think the infection was caused my diabetes or a one off?
Sorry about all the questions but I'm feeling a bit down by all of this.
