Another Newbie

Hi there,
I am another newbie, recently diagnosed type 2. Single mum and about to start my nursing degree, so thought I would sign up as been having a few problems with sugar levels lately. Its alot to get your head round.

I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant and remember them doing the heel prick test on my daughter and I was praying she was ok

He's getting old... making me feel very old! He's 19 and just going in to his second year at Uni! He was diagnosed the year after me just after his 13th birthday.
