Another IPhone update / Libre thread…..

Updated my IPhone SE 2020 to iOS 14.8 today without thinking about it first…

Now my phone won‘t read my Libre 2 sensor.

I‘ve rebooted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app (and lost my history on the phone) and it still will not read the sensor with NFC.

The low glucose alarm still works and when the app was installed on Mrs phone (before update) it all works fine.

So a bit of a warning to hold off on updating Iphones for the moment!

Wee update on this one… after a bit of digging and diagnostics it seems my NFC gave up the ghost. Replacement phone and all is good again.

I read on another forum that Abbott are now reporting an issue with LIbre and updates iOS later than 14.
They have advised to only use the reader until they have resolved the issues.

Unfortunately, last time i looked, on their website, the readers were temporarily unavailable.

I have IOS 14.8 and absolutely no problems. I did see the Abbott email but my motto is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I’m on lowly iOS 14.3 (ageing phone!) and that worked fine a few weeks back.
