Was at the nurse last week and have to phone back today for the results...

Last HbA1c was 5.7 and cholesterol was 6.5 (I was put back on statins) so guesses on a postcard please ...

The results are in...

Nurse says my bloods were "excellent"

HbA1c the same at 5.7 cholesterol down to 4.2 - yipee but my thyroid hormones are now "borderline" and have to be repeated in 6 months, the nurse says that I will probably end up hypothyroid within the next couple of years. Seemingly it is very common amongst diabetics (another thing we can blame the dreaded D on 🙄).

Great results Carol! Shame about the thyroid, but I believe it can be easily treated with a pill - hopefully it won't come to that though 🙂
