Another day another eye appointment

Exudative maculopathy, retinopathy and retinal vein occlusion all being checked today. Last visit had to have urgent laser treatment so hoping today will be ok as I have to give a lecture at 9am tomorrow!!!!! Hopefully after today I will be hospital free for a few months

Susie has just had massive hugs First of all the consultant thought that he would need to laser but then he did a scan and the exudates had cleared up so he didn't need to laser them. There is still some bleeding at the bottom of my "bad" eye and my vision was 6/36 (bad eye) 6/18 (good eye) - but overall, for me, a good result and I don't have to go back for six months

Thanks Blythespirit. I genuniely feel like I've reached the end of a very long nightmare. I still can't believe that I haven't got a single hospital appointment for six months - I'm now happily planning lectures and Christmas xx

thank you Margie, for the first time in over two years I feel truly happy and this is the first Christmas for three years that I can look forward to without a health issue or similar hanging over my head. I feel so lucky

YEEEESSSSS!!!! Good result - 6 months freedom - LIKE!! 🙂 Glad it went well, I can uncramp now lol!! 😉
