Am currently on KATIE (DAFNE) course & have discovered I am actually a T3c. Never knew we had our own tag, surprised, yep!
So started with a Whipples in 1985, which resulted from a benign mass.
Exit head of pancreas, duodenum & base of stomach. 2 years later developed pancreatic pseudocyst. Lengthy stay in Middlesex Hospital resolved this. Started on Creon 10K.1991 became diabetic, insulin dependent. Graduated at some stage to Creon 25K. Then on to Creon 40K.
2003 developed another pseudocyst, resulting in completion pancreatectomy & splenectomy. Middlesex Hospital again. Just for good measure bowel cancer in 2004, so donated a portion of bowel to the incinerator.
Currently on Novorapid, Levemir, Creon 40K (soon to be 25K again), Omeprazole, Penicillin, Loperamide.
