Well had annual review this aftanoon, and despite myself all went well!
hba1c was 7.7 but doc said he would have liked it closer to 7, cholesterol 3.4 feet ok and kidney function ok too, so am quite pleased with myself, 🙂

Good news Shirl 🙂 Did the doctor give you any advice about how you might be able to get your HbA1c down? 🙂
 
Hi Northerner and thanks. unfortunately doc. didn't give me any ideas, typical huh? Will try getting in touch with DSN maybe she will be able to help!

That's really good news Shirl - I'm glad things have gone well on the diabetes side :D as you have been through a tough time lately. Have a little treat, you deserve it 🙂 Sheena x

Thanks for the replies, I honestly thought they would have suffered so was relieved to say the least. At the moment I am walking into town evry day and back which takes about 20 minutes each way so I'm hoping that will help but am not sure what else I could try so if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate any input.
