Just had my annual check.

Lots of tests done includign hba1c as consultant wanted lots doing for my appointment on 21st. Also had vitamin D and PTH done as deficiency of some sort there apparently.

You may remember I wasn't sure whether to go to see the GP with my feet as i have lost several toe nails. The nurse took one look at my feet today and has referred me to a podiatrist -yeah! She also asked me to take some nail clippings for them to be tested. I am not sure how long I will have to wait to see her.

I also had BP done whic h was perfect.

I had my flu jab too.

She also asked me if I was still using my test strips. I said yes and she asked me how often - 4 x a day was my reply and prescription left untouched - yeah again!

I had to do a urine sampe to check my kidneys too.

Also about 6 months ago I was taken off the depo contraceptive injection and haven;t had a monthly yet (sorry men) but have had extremely painful breasts - she has referred me to the breast clinic for this and i have the appointment for 10th November already. She has also said she would like me to see the GP before then as she was quite concerned.

All in all - a few concerns but things are getting sorted.🙂

Well done Lucy, sounds like your nurse was very good going through everything for you. I hope you get everything sorted out x

Hi Lucy it sounds like your nurse was very thorough. I'm glad that you are getting things sorted out

wishing you lots of luck in the rest of your tests and appointments 🙂
