PARKING charges at Nottingham hospitals will rise nearly 30 per cent for a short stay.
Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has announced that a two-hour stay at its car parks at Nottingham City Hospital and the Queen's Medical Centre will rise by 90p from ?3.10 to ?4.
Hospital bosses accept that the increase, from January 7, will not be popular but insist they have to take difficult decisions in order to save ?150m over the next three years.
