A scheme in Bedford that aims to tackle child obesity was featured on a BBC Inside Out investigation programme on Monday.
The show, which aired on BBC One at 7.30pm, reported how schemes to help obese and overweight children in the eastern region are failing to sign up those who need them.
And the obesity programme Beezee Bodies, based above A1 Cars in Mill Street, was featured in the programme discussing how it has a take-up rate of just one per cent.
Weight problems cost the NHS ?4billion each year, with over a third of 10 and 11- year-olds classed as obese or overweight.
