Apropos absolutely nowt, since I realise it's difficult to find different enough adverts to make folk watch them and remember the name of the company, and Curry's the electrical shop have a more than batty one too at the moment - this one is for Smarty who sell a mobile phone etc service and it gets straight up my nose (both nostrils) every single time because of bad grammar. If I turned up to a venue for an evented I had an invitation to, and saw a notice and was asked to see my Invite I'd inform them very loudly and swiftly that nobody whatsoever had had an Invite since everyone was sent an Invitation.

Yeah right I know all too well that's ridiculously pedantic of me and even though the advert has clearly done its job cos I remember whose it is - it annoys me even more because it is simply so true and clever - good grief - who on earth has ever sent the bride or groom, a formal invitation to their own wedding or the 'do' ?

I get annoyed at most adverts.......after the umpteeth time in a night the last thing im intersted in buying is their product

Anything with paddy mcguinness in or voicing winds me up

I haven't seen that advert but I share your annoyance reading about it - although it's because I hate Americanisms! Another one that I see lots recently is "gifting" instead of "giving".

Walter Presents
The pet insurance advert ending ‘We go home’!!!!! Really irritating but then we keep getting the one ‘what’s a salary’ … Even more annoying
I don’t remember the name of the company in either case but now need to be on the mute button ready

Any advert that I can't skip annoys me

I remember some of those ad breaks in the 1980s which were better than the actual programmes. Those were the days!

Joan Collins/Leonard Rossiter, Smash robots, Milk Tray, Hovis, Yellow pages (Fly Fishing by JR Hartley or the bike saddle)…

The advert I do like is the little girl who says "I'm in the camera" I can't get enough of her. <3

I forgot the OXO family too.
The after Xmas one, one year where one son asks What's for dinner? and Mum thinks out loud, listing all the things she's created with left over turkey so far, then answers brightly "Kebabs!" Son - Are they turkey - again? Mum, thoughtful tone - Well, turk ish ......
