In work today a colleague came to me and said he and another colleague had overheard a conversation I had with a friend at work about my diabetes etc. he said he wanted to introduce me to his colleague who in 2011 weighed 25 stones 4 pounds. He saw a picture of himself at a joint Christmas/Retirement do and had never realised how bad he looked until he saw that photo. That instantly made him decide he needed to do something about that. In just over a year he lost 11 stones. He introduced us and we had an amazing chat, he was in no way condescending to me, after all he's been there himself. We had a chat about eating, diet, excercise and foods. Unfortunately we were interrupted as another colleague needed to speak to me about a work matter (inconsiderate) lol. Anyway he forwarded me his blog. I left work feeling so uplifted after our chat and so inspired to make sure I do the right things regarding losing weight. I came home and read his blog, one part of it made me cry so much, it was such an open and honest piece. If I knew how to post links on here I would post it. I just felt very fortunate to meet an amazing down to earth guy who's weight loss is astounding but realises he can't take his eye off the ball and will if he's lax about it all, quite easily put all his weight back on. I'm going to make a special effort next week to get together with him again and get his help and advice on my weight loss journey...he can be my new life coach...lol :D

Go to the blog and copy the URL, then come back here and hit the reply button. If you look above the text box you'll see a range of icons. You want the one with the little globe and closed links. Click that, then paste in the URL and hit OK. I'll look foward to reading it.

Sounds like a terrific man Cat, that's one heck of an achievement. 🙂

It's easy enough to post a link to his blog if you want - just copy it from your browser's address line and paste it into your post 🙂

There's links at the right hand side of the page. Click on 2012 at the start of the blog and you see his 1st pic...the one he that inspired him to change his life.
