after a near collapse quite a few weeks ago feeling unwell since Xmas i have at last got a diagnoses. seems that i am suffering from what they call liver fibrosis f1 stage. still not clear what is causing the enlargement but it is felt that with my liver not been so well that this is having an impact with my diabetes. levels have been above 26.

i am now on 2 medications for diabetes but if that doesn't work i will be going to injections or they are going to let the hospital take over.

i am going for a MRI next week so this might also come up with why i went in to collapse.

as for the outlook as long as i don't hit f3 or f4 and go steady then i should be okay, still feel a bit unsteady though at times, still not going to let it dictate and am going to keep pushing to keep myself going.

Hello @mikeydt1
Thanks for letting us know how things are going for you.

Although difficult to cope with it must help to know what the problem is, and that there is a good outlook.
I am sure that your positive approach will be a big factor in moving things forward well.

How are you feeling now? X

many thnks for the kind replies, at the moment not too bad. just had a very rough ride since Xmas but have battled through.

next week i am back to monitoring BG and then providing feedback to see if the new med is working if not then not sure which way it will go.

meds are sitagliptin and gliclazide sorry for the spellings.

Hi and nice to hear from you. Glad you have a diagnosis so that your treatment can be targeted. You must take extra care now
