What a positive post, when I think back to the first posts you were putting on here, you have come a long way. I'm sure that it will provide lots of inspiration to some of the new folk here.
Even with still some uncertainty about your diagnosis you are motivated and positive so you must be feeling much better.
Hello leadinglights , Thankyou 🙂 , I worked out if I can be positive , hopefully the positivity and inspiration can help others that are in the same situations aswell , wether you been diagnosed , or you been a diabetic for a long long time or your still haven’t been diagnosed like me yet 🙂. I feel like a million dollars to be honest , I feel like I been reborn again and my energy has come back . 🙂

That is so good to hear. X

I agree, exercising early (walking on the beach for me) makes me not want to wreck my efforts later in the day by snacking or by eating unhelpful meals.

I spend a bit of time planning the days food and the next day too. It does change as the day goes on if our plans for the day change. So I have to revisit my day meal plans quite often. Balancing everything is an interesting challenge for me. I think that detailed meal planning can be a right chore for many people. That's where Apps come in handy.

Finding new, but healthier meal alternatives is quite enjoyable. And also trying to create new recipes (not brilliantly successful in that yet)

And, the obvious, I'm not too keen on poisoning myself. So I see uncontrolled or high cab meals as a sort of poison. Not really 'the foods' as I can just reduce the quantity, but 'the carbs'. No 1 enemy and has to be brought under strict control....in my view.
