Hi

Anyone used this to lower BG or to help with neuropathy pain?

Apparently in Germany it is prescribed to diabetics for help with neuropathy pain?

Any experience?

Darren

Alpha-lipoic acid is found in many foods, and is also produced in our bodies in the hubbub of our physiology. So you guess whether or not it helps with neuropathy pain.

Furthermore, if you don’t know the processes it is involved with in our bodies, who’s to know what side effects a supplement might have? Just a thought.

There are many treatments for neuropathic pain, some of which have unwanted known side effects, but don’t resemble any naturally produced molecules. CBD oil (Cannabis oil without THC) has been found useful by MS patients in reducing neuropathic discomfort, as do I with my motor neuropathy, without any side effects. That’s not only natural, it’s vegan as well.

And you’d be amazed at some of the stuff that German doctors prescribe that have never seen the light of day in this country. Not dangerous, just very odd.
