has anyone ever had an allergic reaction
to an insulin

last year they put me on a 70/30 mix and
i broke out something awful

it was like i was sun burn and peeling

Hi Mary, it is possible to be allergic to insulin, but extremely rare. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? How soon after you started on the insulin did you experience the problems? There are many different insulins available, so you should be able to try others. Has the doctor ruled out psoriasis?
