So pleased that the change has worked for you.So, I thought I would give it a month of my new active insulin time and adjusted alert before low settings and.... It's loads better! Thanks for all the tips. Helpful to review what settings you can change and what effect it might have.
Next step, adjusting my target down from 6.7!
Thanks all for the tips!
I have finally got my target down to 5.5, by making the changes to the alerts that @everydayupsanddowns suggested. When I reduced my target I had alerts all the time as I still had alert before low on. Now alert on low is set at 4.8 during the day, and 4.4 at night. I now have very few alerts, but when I do get one I now I have to react, and remember that it is time to offset a hypo. Just woken on 5.5 and 95% even though I am messing the HCl a bit as I am in pain and so on painkillers which usually confuses things a bit.
Let us know how the next change works for you.
