Todays the second wedding anniversary of two dear friends of mine. They have been together for ten years, but its only been legal for them to marry for a while as they are 2 men. I introduced them to each other saying Adam this is Bill I think you two would make a great couple and they do. I went to the wedding as the best lady.And they have always said I brough them together.
Today i received a lovely surprise of a large potted yellow rose from a florist It must have cost a lot i just burst into tears of joy with a card saying we love you Thankyou
tears of delight are flowing down my face, all this i babbled down the phone to them. I hope they have many more years together
Just a aaahhhh moment i had to share How kind of them to think of me

Hi Gail.Your story reminded me of a wedding we went to again probably about 10 years ago.It was a guy that worked for me who married his long term partner and it was a wonderful occasion outside.
They had a lovely day in County Durham and I used to go out for an evening meal with them when I was up in that part of the world.
Enjoy your Rose and a lovely surprise.

That is a lovely gesture from them. Enjoy the looking at the rose and remembering their wedding. It would also have been my mum and dad’s anniversary today, so I have bought two identical bunches of flowers one for mum and one to take over crematorium for dad.
