As I wait for the pain killers to kick in I have been browsing the web and found this article. TBH I am not surprised as somewhat over twenty years ago I and two friends found their predecessors unhelpful when we were struggling with elderly parents (two mothers and one father). In fact my friend was told his father was "too old"! I found them unhelpful and it has been mentioned to me some staff are racist!
With the various issues like Oxfam's sexual abuse of those in need I think some charities need a good looking at. I know when I volunteered a decade ago the paid staff really wasted money intended for those needing support with serious health issues.
