Afternoon Tea

Hi We were going to a charity afternoon tea in 2 weeks. Its had to be cancelled. So Ive invited the friends to us. The wife is pre diabetic .
I thought I could try a diabetic tea,
Any suggestions for the dainty sandwiches and /or scones section plus a dainty cake section .
I have some glass dishes so I might add a prawn cocktail with bed of lettuce & cucumber& a few prawns in suitable sauce (maybe using my fav Alpro No sugar smooth yogurt , YUM

Hi Jenny, there is a recipe for scones on sugarfreelondoners website along with lots of other lovely cakes etc.
All the recipes are easy to follow, they have to be for me !!
This week I made chocolate muffins which are only 4.3 g carbs per cake and they are delicious.

Ive also found a local scone mix in the cupboard. I might be able to add almond flour and benecol to this to bring down the carbs. I also have a small cutter to reduce the individual size
