Well steroids for anything (not only Covid) are responsible for a fair few cases of diabetes so it's hardly a surprise.

interesting topic. i have been on low dose steroid for many years not a sign of diabetes then bit by bit the signs started creeping in until a few years ago i ended up with full blown diabetes. over the last years i was on very low dosage to the tablet form for chest conditions.
