Having reduced my Hba1c to 38 I was taken off metformin and am finding my way by testing before and 2 hrs after meals despite being told by DN not to bother.
to day for the first time since stopping metformin 18 days ago I had over night oats for breakfast. Approx 30 grams made with almond milk
my BG on waking was 5.1 2 hours after eating it was 7.2 Does this mean I should avoid oats?

thank you

The target is to be below 8.5 two hours later, and no more than 2 or 3 above your pre-meal reading, so those numbers look fine to me.

That's completely normal for a non-diabetic, so all good.
