Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
hi everyone, am needing a little advice for the past few month I have been been getting pains and numbness in my left arm, its been happening more frequently but it's only lasting for a minuet or two, am not sure of it is related to the diabetes but I do get really high blood sugar levels so am not sure if that has anything to do with it, I have also been to the doctors and they seem to not do anything about it and tell me there's nothing to worry about so nothing has been done. Am just wondering does anyone else get these pains?

Hi Lauren, I'm sorry to hear this :( What are your blood sugar levels like generally? What sorts of pains are you getting, and whereabouts in your arm? It doesn't sound diabetes-related, as you would usually get those sorts of sensations in your feet first, and you haven't been diagnosed very long. How did your diagnosis come about, and are you on any medication for it? Is the painful/numb arm your 'dominant' arm i.e. is it your right arm if right-handed?

Sorry for all the questions! It helps people to see if it is similar to anything they might have experienced. 🙂

I got given an nexus gluco rx of my doctor and told me my level should be between 4-9and am getting the reading of 15-20 some times higher I have been put on metforman 500mg and I have to take 4 times a day and also vipidia 25mg and I take one a day it all come about when I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (pcos) and was feeling tired all the time. I am right handed but it's in my left
