Hullo all. I was diagnosed with Type 2 last July. It was not unexpected as my father was also type 2 at the same age. I attended a good one day course (Desmond) which was very helpful and I have managed to loose 9/10 kilos and reduce sugar levels through reduced food portions and exercise. However with this colder weather I am suffering from cold extremities (fingers & toes) which reminded me that my father lost some toes. Can anyone suggest please if anything can be done to manage this factor? For example do bed socks, gloves or hand warmers work?
